We are looking for you to join our team in the Accounting Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a Senior GL Accountant (f/m/d) as soon as possible. Our company headquarters will relocate to Eschborn in summer 2026, and your primary workplace will move to Eschborn from that time onward.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Participation in the monthly group closing process under IFRS, including variance analysis and support in monthly reporting
- Collaboration with Finance teams to further develop internal reporting requirements
- Coordination, monitoring and review of general‑ledger‑related matters with responsible departments and international accounting units
- Ensuring complete and accurate processing of monthly and year‑end closing entries
- Ongoing posting and monitoring of equity, investments, provisions and other general ledger accounts
- Execution of intercompany reconciliations and allocation of charges to subsidiaries
- Acting as a contact point for domestic and international subsidiaries regarding group reporting and financial statement‑related topics
- Support and coordination of process optimization projects, for example in the areas of account reconciliation and provision processes
- Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors and other external partners
- Contribution to the optimization of SAP applications and process flows
What you bring:
- Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting or tax law; ideally complemented by further qualification in accounting
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international company
- Strong knowledge of accounting according to local GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Basic understanding of consolidation processes
- Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Analytical approach, high attention to detail and willingness for continuous development
- Ability to quickly understand processes and clearly identify and communicate optimization opportunities
