Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the retail division, including own stores and outlets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly performance reports with key retail KPIs such as sales, margin, traffic, conversion rate, and sales per square meter.
- Perform P&L analyses for individual stores; identify variances, interpret results, and recommend improvement measures.
- Monitor inventory performance, including stock levels, turnover, and aging, and support in defining markdown and clearance strategies.
- Evaluate the ROI of marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and seasonal campaigns.
- Conduct investment and feasibility analyses for new store openings, remodels, and closures.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes for the retail business.
- Act as a finance business partner to retail operations, e-commerce, and marketing, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
- Continuously enhance reporting tools, analytical models, and financial processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis.
- Proven experience in the retail, consumer goods (FMCG), or e-commerce sector, with strong understanding of retail business models.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, and visualization).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/CO) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.
- Fluent in English and German
